Nine seasons are gone for the epic show, "The Big Bang Theory." It has come a long way from when it started to what it is today.

The latest episode, "The Solder Excursion Diversion," shows how Amy and Sheldon develop a deeper relationship over Sheldon's secret and how stagnant Penny/Leonard relationship still is. However, thanks to the light humor, the episode manages to celebrate Howard/Bernadette and Leonard/Penny marriages.

In this week's episode, Sheldon is devastated as his old Alienware laptop bites the dust after years of use. The opening scene shows Amy and Sheldon talking over a broken Skype connection, as Amy urges him to buy a new laptop. And when the laptop finally draws its last breath, as expected, Sheldon had a funeral ritual ready to be panned out.

Sheldon's "huge loss" was obviously at the center of this episode. In a world where Sheldon wants to keep orderliness and maintain familiarity, change like situation often leads him to react in certain, humorous ways. However, unlike his agonizing drama over buying Xbox One or PlayStation 4 in "Indecision Amalgamation," the show creators skipped right to the part where he agonizes nevertheless, as Amy gifts him a new Alienware laptop. It would have been fun to see Sheldon in his usual indecisiveness, choosing which laptop to buy. But rather than showing what was expected, the episode took on a different direction and used it as an opportunity to build Amy/Sheldon relationship further.

But despite the heart-warming plot of this episode, one cannot help notice minor lapses in the story. Just how rich is Amy to buy Sheldon a $1000 laptop? How did Sheldon transport all this junk he collected over the years to a warehouse when he can't drive and has strict aversion to public transport?

On the other hand, a subplot featured Leonard and Howard working with their wives on a science project. Somewhere in between, the guys had to leave behind to work on the equipment as they snuck out to catch on free screening of Suicide Squad, forcing them to lie to their wives. But rather than keeping up with the lie, the boys decided to come out clean and tell their wives the truth about watching a movie and apologizing them for their act. In the end, it turned out well for everyone, except Raj who is becoming rather sluggish on this show.
